The Soil Health Lead will work to advance SFA's soil health networking and education, planning and conducting the Midwest Soil Health Summit, provide one-on-one assistance to farmers creating integrated soil health plans, advise on fencing and livestock management, and serve as regional coordinator with the Minnesota Dairy Initiative. An estimated 1,000 miles per month of travel, and 1-2 overnights per month are expected.
